Calculation and Simulation of a Starter-generator for the Aviation Gas Turbine Engine

Abstract

The article presents the features of the constructive calculation and simulation of the motor mode of starter-generator unit operation for an aviation gas turbine engine. A permanent magnets synchronous motor is used as an electric machine. The calculation method used as a basis allows one to take into account some features of the electric machine operation as part of an aviation engine system.
