This sensor is sensitive to electromagnetic field and is used for detection and diagnosis electrical faults. It was established the relationship between the main electrical faults (inter-turn short circuits and unbalanced voltage supplies) and the signals of magnetic flux in order to identify the characteristic frequencies of those faults. The experimental results shown the efficiency of the flux coil sensor developed and the strategies for detection, diagnosis and monitoring tasks. Abstract
