Abstract

In this article, space vector decoupled center spaced PWM (SVDCPWM) techniques are proposed for open-end winding induction motor drive (OEWIMD). Two 2-level inverters are fed on either side of open-end induction motor drive to achieve 3-level output. To bring about the control pulses for the two inverters, reference three phase sinusoids are used. Instantaneous reference sinusoids of one inverter are phase shifted with respect to another inverter to generate a variety of decoupled PWM techniques.
