Students’ pretest and posttest scores were analyzed using frequency distribution and percentage. The t-test was used to find out if there exists significant difference between the students’ mean scores in the pretest, posttest, and pretest and posttest in both experimental and control groups. The mean was used to analyze data from the students’ motivation checklist. Results showed that both groups have gained significantly higher scores in the posttest than in the pretest. However, the posttest mean score of the experimental group is significantly higher than that of the control group. This implies that the students in the experimental group performed better than those in the control group. It was also found that when QQTIHPRS were utilized in teaching Earth Science, students were actively involved; excited and thrilled; motivated to work, shared their ideas, and established camaraderie and teamwork. Abstract
