In addition, vectors and matrices operations were introduced to understand the processing of the neural network, and the representation of the activation functions for the process of inhibition and excitation. Likewise, the examples and exercises followed a similar scheme; first the choice of the characteristics of the neural network used, followed by the training process, and ending with the test and verification. Abstract

This article shows the procedure of elaboration of a didactic manual using Matlab software, for a section of the elective course Intelligent Control Systems of the ninth academic semester in the program of Electronic Engineering and Mechatronics, at the Ricardo Palma University.
