КОНЦЕПТ «СЧАСТЬЕ» В ЯЗЫКОВОМ СОЗНАНИИ НАРОДА

Abstract

Modern linguistics is characterized by a keen interest in the problems of studying the relationship between language and culture, language and ethnicity, language and mentality, as well as the reconstruction and comparison of linguistic national worldviews as reflections of the worldview and mental induction of native speakers. Happiness is a fundamental category of human life. In this regard, it is necessary to conduct special research related to the concept of "happiness", considered as one of the main concepts of culture. Being a key component of national culture, the basic concept of "happiness" reflects the main categories and directions of the life philosophy of peoples. The article is devoted to the analysis of one of the most important concepts of national consciousness – the emotional concept of "happiness". The study of the etymology and history of the word "happiness" allows us to trace the relationship between the meanings of this word and the ideas about the phenomenon of happiness in the history of Russian linguacultural. It is established that differences in the interpretation of the concept of "happiness"do not cancel the definiteness of the semantics of the word" happiness", revealed in explanatory dictionaries.
