ممارسة الأنشطة والاحتیاجات المختلفة للراشدین ذوی اضطراب طیف التوحد من منظور الأمهات Practicingactivities and different needs of adults with Autism spectrum disorder from mothers’ perspective

Abstract

هدف البحث إلى تقییم درجة ممارسة الراشدین ذوی اضطراب طیف التوحد لأنشطة الحیاة الیومیة المختلفة، والتعرف على الاحتیاجات الفعلیة غیر الملباة، والفروق فی الاحتیاجات وفقا لبعض المتغیرات الدیموجرافیة، ومعرفة أکثر الاحتیاجات أهمیة للراشدین ذوی اضطراب طیف التوحد من منظور الأمهات.وتکونت عینة البحث من (49) من أمهات الراشدین من ذوی اضطراب التوحد من الجنسین (ذکور وإناث)، وبلغ المتوسط الحسابی للعمر الزمنی (52,8) سنة بانحراف معیاری (4,4)، وبلغ متوسط العمر الزمنی للأبناء (6,25) سنة بانحراف معیاری(1, 5). واستخدمت الباحثة لجمع البیانات استبیان الأنشطة والاحتیاجات المختلفة للراشدین ذوی اضطراب طیف التوحد. فروض البحث: تدنی النسب المئویة لأداء الراشدین ذوی اضطراب طیف التوحد لأنشطة الحیاة الیومیة من منظور الأمهات. توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائیة فی النسب المئویة بین الاحتیاجات الفعلیة غیر الملباة والاحتیاجات المتاحة للراشدین ذوی اضطراب طیف التوحد من منظور الأمهات. توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائیة بین متوسطات رتب الاحتیاجات المختلفة وفقا لبعض المتغیرات الدیموجرافیة (النوع ـــ درجة الإصابة) لدى الراشدین ذوی اضطراب طیف التوحد من منظور الأمهات. هناک احتیاجات أکثر أهمیة للراشدین ذوی اضطراب طیف التوحد من منظور الأمهات. وتوصلت النتائج إلى: وجود انخفاض فی أداء الراشدین ذوی اضطراب طیف التوحد لأنشطة الحیاة الیومیة، فضلا عن وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائیة بین الاحتیاجات الفعلیة غیر الملباة والاحتیاجات المتاحة للراشدین ذوی اضطراب التوحد، کما توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائیة فی الاحتیاجات المختلفة تبعا لدرجة الإصابة. وظهر أن الحاجة إلى السیطرة على نوبات الهیاج والمشکلات السلوکیة من الاحتیاجات الأکثر أهمیة للراشدین ذوی اضطراب التوحد من منظور الأمهات. The research aims to assess the degree of practicing various daily-life activities by adults with autism spectrum disorder, to identify the actual unmet needs, the differences in needs according to some demographic variables, and to know the most important needs of adults with autism spectrum disorder from mothers’ perspective. Sample consisted of (49) mothers of adults with autism spectrum disorder of both sexes (males and females). The mothers’ mean age was (52.8) years with a standard deviation of (4.4). The mean age of adults was (25.6) years with a standard deviation of (5.1). The researcher used to collect data questionnaire activities and different needs of adults with autism spectrum disorder. Research Hypotheses: 1. Low percentage of adults with autism spectrum disorder practice daily-life activities from mothers’ perspective. 2. There are statistically significant differences between the actual unmet needs and available needs for adults with autism spectrum disorder from mothers’ perspective. 3. There are statistically significant differences in needs according to some demographic variables (type - degree of injury) in adults with autism spectrum disorder from mothers’ perspective. 4. There are more important needs for adults with autism spectrum disorder from mothers’ perspective. The research concluded that, from mothers’ perspectiveof adult with Autism spectrum disorder, there is a decrease in the performance of adults with autism spectrum disorder for daily-life activities in addition to the statistically significant differences between the actual unmet needs and the available needs and the statistically significant differences in needs according to the degree of injury. Agitation control and behavioral problems seem to be the most important needs of adults with autism spectrum disorder.
