Abstract

In his romantic universe, Gustave Flaubert offers a striking reading of the condition of women. It is through a writting that reveals the vices and shortcomings of this woman in her environment that the writer gives a striking painting of it. Thus, the latter leads a life « plunged » into blameworthy excess, no longer go out of her existence in illusion and debauchery. Similarly, she recurs in acts of concupiscence, to the point of « soaking » her existence in a trajectorty made of different flaws. The woman with Gustave Flaubert is also guilty of getaways.
