Abstract

In this paper, a wideband two-port antenna pair is designed for the fifth generation (5G) application. The -6 dB impedance matching bandwidth of the antenna pair can cover 3.1-5.28 GHz and the isolation is better than 10 dB. Compared to the traditional decoupling method of characteristic mode, we excite a pair of decoupling modes at each port simultaneously.
