Benthic diatoms (Bacillariophyta) Lakes of Сerik Kel (Lake Nizhnee Goluboe, Kabardino-Balkaria)

Abstract

A systematic list of diatoms (Bacillariophyta)of lake Сerik-Kel (lake Nizhnee Goluboe, Kabardino-Balkaria), consisting of 46 species, 15 of which are new to this region, has been obtained. The taxonomic analysis of the obtained list is carried out, the species that are common (among the dominant ones) for karst lakes of Russia and adjacent territories are identified – Aulacoseira granulata, Rhopalodia gibba, Staurosira construens.
