Mapping's Process of the Trajectory of pre-hospital transport by basic Ambulance for Road Accidents' victims in TDABC

Abstract

The pre-hospital transport service represents the link in the chain of care that provides emergency pre-hospital care for victims of motor vehicle accidents. It is also considered the beginning of a continuum of care that forms a chain. mapping process consists of documenting the activities of a process in a detailed graphic format. Our objective is to map the process of the pre-hospital transport trajectory of road accident victims in Time-Driven Activity-Based Costing (TDABC), transported specifically by the basic vehicle. This model could be effective to better understand the resources needed to perform the activities and tasks for the victim to achieve an optimal outcome. In this perspective, we have confronted the concordance of the academic literature - professional - and scientific practice for the elaboration of the mapping process of the pre-hospital transport of victims of road accidents in TDABC. The mapping obtained is adapted to the various situations of pre-hospital transport of victims of road accidents by basic vehicle. However, this mapping shows that the TDABC applied to the pre-hospital transport process favours a better knowledge of all the activities and tasks necessary for pre-hospital pick ups of victims by basic vehicles.
