New PhD Course: Statistical analysis and evaluation of technological data

Abstract

This paper describes a new university course which was created especially for doctoral students in Electrical Engineering, the faculty to which the author’s department belongs to. The first part of the paper describes the reasons for its creation, the second part deals with its content comprising data science, statistical analysis, Python programming language, Jupyter development environment, and more. The paper is completed by evaluating the success of the course.
