Abstract

The parameters of a single-phase synchronous generator given as single-phase per-unit values from manufacturer data are converted into three-phase per-unit values. The parameter calculation is exemplified here for the manufacturer data of a typical single-phase generator. Based on these parameters and the dynamic equations in the d-q-rotor reference frame, a dynamic model is derived. In contrast to the dynamic models of commercially available software, the damper currents are given as output values.
