Abstract
The effect of temperature on the impulse electrical strength of a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film with a thickness of $2.5 \mu\mathrm{m}$ was studied. Statistical analysis of the obtained results was carried out. It was found that the probability distribution of the breakdown strength of the film under study corresponds to the Weibull law.
