A passive clamp network around the inductors provides the recovery of energy through leakage induct­ance leading to improvement in the voltage gain and effi­ciency. The advantage of passive clamp network is that it reduces voltage stress on the switch. The duty cycle values are not required in this proposal so it does not have an reverse recovery problem. Abstract

There has been drastic increase in the demand of electricity. DC-DC converter has major significance in the renewable grid-connected power applications because of the low voltage PV arrays.
