The research took the form of qualitative survey using criteria questionnaire. The research deals with two areas: (a) Current status of tablets use in classroom, and (b) Opinions of teachers and opinions of pupils concerning use of tablets for teaching/learning purposes. The research was performed at two grammar schools with general orientation and was implemented in the period from June to September 2015. Both schools had iPads available for classroom work since September 2014. The first school strongly supports education in science and therefore its description is grammar school with science orientation (term by the authors of this article).
