Abstract

In this paper, the full scan range results for different single layers of WAIM sheets have been investigated. The results have shown the advantages and disadvantages of WAIM sheets w.r.t without WAIM sheet In addition, the studies were devoted to improve the scan range using printed strips and square prints on top of the WAIM sheet, and, pins & strips at the aperture of the waveguide. They provided good options for WAIM matching with the variation of different conducting pins and strips.
