Electric vehicles and charging networks in China

Abstract

This paper firstly gives an introduction to the domestic development situation of electric vehicles, and then describes the present construction situation of charging facilities as well as its development plan. After that, the analysis and comparison to different charging modes have been discussed. Based on the frontal analysis and comparison as well as Chinese real conditions, the paper proposes the important roles of power grid enterprise in the overall layout strategy of electric vehicle charging facilities. Some comments are provided in the final part.
