Nowadays, using molds is a common way to make a double-curved wood shell. When it comes to make a free-from building which usually needs to be separate into variable simple units. And before making each unit, the molds need to be made first. So more complex building will separate into more units that mean more molds and more money. Finally, the huge cost forced the owner to change the plan by using other materials or other methods to lower the cost. It is the reason why making the double-curved wood buildings become too hard to come true.
