Abstract

In this paper, a novel method based on chaotic dynamics and soft switching control is proposed for the reduction of the electromagnetic interference (EMI)in DC-DC converter. There, a chaotic carrier plays a key role to generate chaotic wave, but a practical design is not yet available in literature. Therefore, to design a chaotic carrier, a practical design based on a chaotic mapping and sawtooth wave generator is proposed to covert the periodic sawtooth wave to the chaotic one.
