Abstract

The characteristics of the error signal and the sensitive trait to the object of PI control limit the application of conventional PI control in the active power filter(APF). In order to overcome these disadvantages, a novel PI control strategy is proposed in this paper. Firstly, we improved the conventional PI control strategy by using the method of phasor superposition. Secondly, we combine it with fuzzy logical to realize the online modulation of parameters of PI control. Finally, a hybrid controller based on phasor superposition and fuzzy logical is designed and applied to the APF. The experiment results revealed that the controller is valid and feasible.
