Research on Control Model of Air Passengers Accommodation under Competitive Environment

Abstract

In recent years, revenue management model has been more extensively used in practice with the market economy in all walks of life in depth and has gotten great success. There are a lot of the research articles in revenue management, but most are directed in the analysis of seat inventory control and overbooking using the static or dynamic model in individual airlines. On the other hand, in the existing game analysis, the revenue management model often has ignored or rarely taken the actual and frequent factor of overbooking into account. In the view of the control of accommodation for airline under a competitive environment, while putting the possible overbooking sale into the model, this paper studies the two airlinespsila corresponding balanced accommodation control strategy using game model with the circumstances of single-fare and multiple-fare, and makes an analysis of the balanced solution impacted by a variety of factors from different parameters, and gives numerical analysis of the model finally.
