Particular shape slots are cut on the surface of the platform and matching structures are used in the platform. Simulated results show that the proposed wave antennas can cover the bandwidth of 2.0-6.0 GHz with VSWR <2.0. The good end-fire radiation beams are obtained over the endfire frequency band and the realized gain in the endfire direction is higher than 6.0dB over the whole frequency.
