This research is conduct to analyse the corelational relationship of nurturing type with cognitive development of pre school children in TK Al – Qodiri Jember. T his is a correlational research with cross sectional approach. The research was conducted at TK Al-Qodiri Jember. The sample of research is kindergarten children total sample size is 30 children. The sampling technique uses total sampling. The data collected by questionnaire and analysed by using Chi Square test. The results obtained that there is a relationship between parenting patterns of democratic parents to the cognitive development of children in kindergarten AL-Qodiri Jember .
