Abstract

The article considers the phenomenon of music samizdat, which allowed Soviet music lovers to listen to Western music, which was banned in the USSR. Ways of disseminating the works of such artists as Petro Leshchenko or Alexander Vertinsky, or Western artists such as Elvis Presley, Ella Fitzgerald, Chuck Berry, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys. The study focuses on music, but rather, even on the technical side of the issue of samizdat.
