Using community service learning methods in universities helps students to be self-disciplined and proactive in acquiring specialized knowledge, especially making an important contribution to the development of basic skills in students: practical capacity, competence problem-solving ability, creative thinking ability, teamwork ability, adaptive capacity,... and at the same time helping students become self-aware of their own roles and responsibilities to the community. However, the application of community service teaching methods in universities in Vietnam is still limited. Within the scope of this article, the author analyzes and clarifies some theoretical issues about teaching methods to serve the community and the reality of using community service teaching methods in universities in Vietnam. Abstract

Community service learning is a teaching and learning method through which learners apply the knowledge and skills learned in school to practical conditions. Using community service learning methods in universities helps students to be self-disciplined and proactive in acquiring specialized knowledge, especially making an important contribution to the development of basic skills in students: practical capacity, competence problem-solving ability, creative thinking ability, teamwork ability, adaptive capacity,... and at the same time helping students become self-aware of their own roles and responsibilities to the community. However, the application of community service teaching methods in universities in Vietnam is still limited. Within the scope of this article, the author analyzes and clarifies some theoretical issues about teaching methods to serve the community and the reality of using community service teaching methods in universities in Vietnam. 社区服务学习是学习者将在学校学到的知识和技能应用到实际情况中的一种教学方法。在大学中运用社区服务学习方法,有助于学生自律、主动获取专业知识,特别是对培养学生的实践能力、胜任能力、解决问题能力、创造性思维能力、团队合作能力、适应能力等基本技能有重要贡献。同时帮助学生认识到自己在社会中的角色和责任。然而,社区服务教学方法在越南大学的应用仍然有限。在本文的研究范围内,作者分析和澄清了越南大学社区服务教学方法的一些理论问题和社区服务教学方法在越南大学实施的现实情况。在此基础上,本文提出了提高大学社区服务学习方法使用效率的基本解决方案,有助于提高当今越南高等教育机构培养高素质人力资源的质量。
