However, this process is often accompanied by the installation of expensive equipment on a controlled section of road, which includes multi-stream video cameras, laser radars, etc. However, such equipment does not make it possible to implement the full scope of road control, namely, to detect and track the simultaneous determination of the position of several vehicles and their speeds. The problem of installing such equipment on dangerous sections of the road is complicated by its high cost, which is not always economically justified. This article proposes a solution to the identified problem of controlling the road traffic situation by introducing an information and communication system for automatic determining the location of vehicles on a controlled section of the road, with the help of registration means used to fix road violations. The paper also provides the principle of the system’s functioning, its composition and the structural and functional scheme.
