Recent developments in high power factor switch-mode converters

Abstract

This paper presents a comprehensive review of various power factor correction techniques proposed for single phase AC-to-DC power converters. The topologies and voltage and current control systems of these approaches are addressed. Their advantages and disadvantages are outlined.
