Abstract
In this paper, we analyze the process of flexibilization of teaching related to education reforms being implemented in Brazil. Initiated in the 1990s, the changes proposed in the 21st century, in a dialectical perspective, represent the continuity of the theses presented by Delors (1997) in the sense that they are therefore in tune with the needs of the flexible production process. In overcoming Taylorism/Fordism, toyotist flexibility is characterized by the reduction of production costs through the flexibilization of the productive process and the reduction of individual jobs. Following the Just in Time production principle, the pace of production is driven by market demand in order to keep inventories down. The analysis developed in the paper aims at apprehending the changes in the productive process and the sense of the neo-technicist education advocated through the National Common Curricular Base – known as BNCC -, as well as the emptying of the possibilities of the education of the individual in the omnilateral perspective.
