Study on China's new industrialization (NI) level measurement

Abstract

Basing on our existing theory and measurement methods of the new industrialization(NI), this article has built a system of China's new industrial measurement indicators. By applying the datum from 2005 to 2014, we estimate the level of development and current status of China's NI, and evaluate the measurement results by establishing Hierarchical Linear Model (HLM). At last, we confirmed that our country's new industrialization is in the rapid development trend. And due to the difference of initial conditions in NI development there is a greater imbalance. In contrast, a region with poor initial condition of has a relatively fast development speed.
