Abstract

The voltage change dependence in the nodes of extra high voltage transmission system on the transmission line length and on the capacities passing through value it is analyzed. The 750 kV power transmission line work has been analyzed for different variants of the compensating devices installation at substations. The optimal variant of the thyristor compensators and shunt reactors location has been selected, the possibilities of the modern systems automation introduction to increase the power management efficiency in the energy system have been suggested.
