Abstract
The use of e-learning in universities is no longer optional, on the contrary, it has become a mandatory requirement in universities. The emergence of the Coronavirus pandemic is not the reason for the extensive use of e-learning; it was a reason for accelerating the transition to use e-learning in Jordanian universities and the world in general. The transition from face-to-face education to e-learning overnight created a gap in the education processes. The quick transition to e-learning was not systematic nor governed by rules that facilitate the transition process. In addition, there was no complete readiness at the level of infrastructure or training of teachers or students to utilise e-learning and achieve the best measurable educational results. This research aims to present a hybrid educational model that combines face-to-face classical education with e-learning methods (synchronous and asynchronous learning) to take advantage of each method and neutralise the negatives. The ultimate objective of this research is to create a universal model that is flexible enough to be applied in universities to help a smooth transition to the use of e-learning education. The researchers applied this model to a sample of students at Zarqa University for four months, and promising results were obtained.
