Abstract
The progress of the COVID19 meant the sudden closure of face-to-face teaching at a university—University of Valladolid, Spain— with an eminently face-to-face orientation. The challenge was to teach 2,500 teachers and 28,000 students to use the Virtual Campus (Moodle), videoconferencing, and multimedia generation tools in a week. The approach was to produce video-tutorials, webinars and mainly a set of social-driven forums in the VLE Moodle. This way the University was able to continue its activity in a timely manner. Teachers promptly started to use all these tools that were previously almost unused. Moreover, teachers have continued using those tools in the following academic course.
