Abstract

In this paper, a single-feed arrow-shaped circularly polarized (CP) antenna is presented for GNSS application. Two orthogonally placed dipoles connected by phase delay lines are printed on both sides of a substrate to realize circular polarization. Further, an unbalanced slotted artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) is proposed to reduce profile of the antenna, enhance impedance bandwidth and CP bandwidth.
