Spiritualitas pada Perempuan Penyintas Kanker: Berpegang Teguh pada Kesakralan

Abstract

This study aim is to describe the spirituality of women cancer’s survivor. This study was a qualitative study, that used qualitative content analysis design. The data of this study was collected using semi-structured interview with three informants. The result of this study showed that women cancer’s survivor used spirituality to overcome stress that was caused by cancer and its treatment,the participants of this study was holding on to The Sacred. Conserving the sacred are divided into three things, spiritual meaning making, seeking spiritual support and connection, and spiritual purification. What women cancer’s survivor do to conserve the sacred were, try to understand what happened in their life, they believed that life is a blessing (spiritual meaning making); pray, believe to the sacred, feel gratitude, and do good things to others (seeking spiritual support and connection); and doing repentance to the family and others, and atonement (spiritual purification) Spirituality gave women cancer’s survivor comfort and strength that made them did well in their treatment.
