Analysis and Experimental Investigation of 3D Printed Electric Motor with Permanent Magnets

Abstract

The main steps for designing and building BLDC motor by using 3D printing technology is described in the paper. The investigation contains an initial design of the motor, description of manufacturing process using 3D printing with polylactic acid (PLA) fiber and selected laboratory tests of fabricated prototype.
