Abstract
The research was conducted in November 2019 to January 2020 at the Laboratory of forage crop, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Universitas Padjadjaran, Sumedang. The purpose of this research was to determine and obtain the appropriate level of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) from the bioconversion of Hermetia illucens flies highest growth to produce Panicum maximum cv. Mombasa. The method used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 type of treatments consisting of P 0 (Panicum maximum cv. Mombasa without the addition of liquid organic fertilizer), P 1 ( addition of 6.000 L LOF.ha -1 ), P 2 (12.000 L LOF.ha -1 ), P 3 (18.000 L LOF.ha -1 ), P 4 (24. 000 L LOF.ha -1 ), and P 5 (30.000 L LOF.ha -1 ). Each treatments was repeated four times. Parametres were plant height, plant length, stem diameter, and number of tillers. The results of statistical analysis using variance analysis (ANOVA). The results showed that the aplication of LOF in the bioconversion of Hermetia illucens flies gave the same respons(P>0.05) to plant height, plant length, stem diameter and number of tillers of Panicum maximum cv.Mombasa grass.
