Game Analysis in Postgraduate Re-examinations

Abstract

This paper analyzes the main phenomena of offering or accepting bribes in the re-examinations of postgraduate students, and uses game theory research methods to construct a dynamic game model of incomplete information between the decision-makers of the admissions units and the re-examination examinees. The research results show that the occurrence of corruptions in the re-examinations is not only a personal quality problem, but also related to social environment conditions. Through the analysis of the model, this paper also concludes that timely investigation and punishment of offering or accepting bribes during the enrollment process and strict punishment are the basic ideas to prevent and eliminate corruptions in postgraduate re-examinations.
