Dynamical adjustment of the value of location information uncertainty in the location server

Abstract

Many projects and researches related with the location based services are developed recently. Great attention is paid to the problems of location management. Current research on location management focuses on algorithms in which location update procedures can be adjusted dynamically. In this article we mainly focus on discussion of location update model which combines two well-known location update models. On that ground we propose the solution of how this model can be supplemented in order to satisfy three main criteria: the character of location based services, mobility of moving objects and query rate of the service users.
