New emerging of OD has made organizations to implement in the fields of systems thinking, organizational learning, and decision-making. The machine manufacturing development is a leading developing industry in Taiwan. With the advent of machine manufacturing evolution, traditional machine manufacturing companies would face the challenges of great organizational transformation. This study tried to provide a decision analysis for organizations to enact organizational development strategy by analyzing the influence of macro and micro environmental factors for machine manufacturing industry in Taiwan. This research applied the following four research methods to find the influential factors of organizational development. First, literature and expert questionnaire (Delphi method) are employed to construct three dimensions and twelve criteria. Second, the DEMATEL method for building a network relationship is then introduced. Third, the influential weights are calculated by using DANP (DEMATEL-based ANP) method. Finally, based on VIKOR, organizational development strategies are evaluated and implemented via a case study for improving organizational development of machine manufacturing industry in Taiwan.
