The result of the optimal design was a decrease of the total cost with 15.3% and a decrease of the exploitation cost with 35.4%. Abstract

The utilization of low power permanent magnet synchronous motors for driving electromechanical equipments means a substantial decrease of the exploitation expenses, because these motors have good efficiency and power factor.
