Abstract

This paper presents a general modeling and an experimental validation of a Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) based Wind Conversion System (WCS). The Wind Conversion System has been briefly presented. Then, the d q control of the Grid Side Converter (GSC) has been detailed theoretically. Moreover, the decoupled active and reactive powers control of the DFIG has been presented.
