Giving 3F2V for 4 weeks showed there was a significant decrease in total cholesterol by 15.29 mg/dl (p=0.00), LDL-c by 10.45 mg/dl (p=0.01) and there was not significantly decreased in triglycerides by 3.73 mg/dl (p=0.07). HDL-c showed reversed changes although not significantly decreased by 2.70 mg/dl (p=0.59). There was a weight loss of 0.28 kg (p=0.04).The addition of 3F2V for 4 weeks could lower total cholesterol, LDL-c,and triglycerides in overweight adolescents,but can’t increase HDL-c.
