Abstract
To work with real-time queries of concrete environment, is a difficult task for Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). To accommodate this claim, we propose an approach named as Advanced Real-time Query Scheduling (ARTQS). ARTQS works with three new schedulers, an Advanced Non-preemptive Query Scheduler(ANQS), Advanced Preemptive Query Scheduler (APQS), and Advanced Query Scheduler (AQS). Our simulation results indicate that ANQS results in high real-time performance but response time is high for high priority queries due to priority inversion. Whereas, APQS supports preemtion which can reduce the priority inversion. AQS combines the advantages of both ANQS and APQS and enhances the adequacy admitting affair that is the end-to-end deadlines of queries.
