Abstract

This article aims at reviewing the effectiveness of compounds in black tea in combating neuroinflammation in Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Detailed chemo profiling of black tea showed the presence of theaflavins, different catechins, and amino acids viz., L-theanine and methylxanthines.
