The relevance of studying the problem of environmental education of children in line with the modern state educational policy is reflected. Poly-spherical character of this direction is noted in the context of the meta-subject development of personality in the new conditions. A brief review of modern domestic literature on the problem is given. The methods of research are described – the method of bibliometrics and the method of webometry, with the help of which the scientometric analysis was carried out. Abstract
