Abstract

This paper addresses manual treatment planning of radiation therapy. Computational intelligence in general and Evolutionary Algorithm in particular can be used to Automate and control radiation therapy. Some radiation treatments can be used as alternatives to surgery for tumors. In a manual treatment location of size of radiation shots are decided manually. This study develops a treatment plan using Evolutionary Algorithm and applying 3-Dimensional optimization model to create a radiation path for shot location.
