Also, the function of these devices is to send the vehicles location to the verified car owner, so the protection function is activated after the vehicle is stolen and the owner is only then aware that the car has been stolen. This is different from the devices that researchers have developed. The researcher's equipment for when someone tries to steal a vehicle is the system will detect the movement inside the car and send the GPS location to the car owner instantaneously.
