It is composed of two content developing parts: concept of the problem-based learning as an instructional method and design of an implementation project of the problem-based learning as an instructional method at the university bachelor’s degree study programmes of education. The article presents such designed project composed of six interacting stages and their significance is discussed. Abstract

The article analyses the implementation aspect of a problem-based learning as an instructional method in a field of education studies. Its aim is to design an implementation project of the problem-based learning as an instructional method at the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences.
