Psychological mechanisms in child-abusing parents.

Abstract

This article discusses the psychological mechanisms in child-abusing parents, with emphasis on who in the family maltreats the child, the mother-child symbiosis, disturbances in the mother-child relationship that leads to abuse and offers an insight in the etiology of this socio-medical problem of today's world.
